Indicates the type of Order Validation to be performed when a location places a manual order.

Manual | No validation
This replenishment model involves end users placing manual orders for containers when they run low or run out of inventory. The orders are not validated, so an end user may forget to order containers or order too many containers. When an end-user forgets to order containers, it forces the fulfillment center to rush an order through resulting in increased expedited freight costs or use alternate packaging which adds packaging, handling and repack costs.

This is the most common replenishment method among entry-level reusable container management programs, it involves end users placing phone calls, emailing orders, filling out web forms.

Manual | Max
This replenishment model is the same as Manual replenishment | No validation except that the manual orders are only allowed to be put in if the requested quantity ordered + end user on hand inventory is below a specified maximum.

Manual | Demand
Allow End-users to generate order up to the allowable demand limited quantity.

Automated | Min / Max
Automatically create orders for containers when inventory levels at the end-user falls below minimum requires, build up to maximum allowable.

Automated | Demand
Automatically create orders for containers based on the upcoming end user demand requirements.

Automated | 1:1:1
This replenishment method automatically creates 1 order for 1 container to be sent back to 1 end user. This model is typically reserved for part specific containers where the container is designed specifically to protect that one unique part.

Triggered from check in at fulfillment center

Example:When a reusable container is marked with Automated replenishment | 1:1:Demand as the reusable container enters the fulfillment center an order will be created to send the container right back, if demand exists.

Automated | KANBAN
This replenishment model is a typical push system in lean manufacturing. As a KANBAN container is consumed at the point-of-use, an electronic signal is sent notifying that the container is used and an order is automatically created.
